Privacy & cookies

Short version: this website doesn’t track you, doesn’t run ads and doesn’t set any cookies of its own. The longer version is below.

What we collect

Nothing, unless you send it to us. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie on this site. We don’t know who you are or which pages you looked at.

Two things do get stored, and both stay on your own device:

  • Your bowl picture preference. The bowl builder on the menu page remembers whether you chose “Photo” or “Illustrated”, using your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and we never see it.
  • Your bowl, when you tap “Order this on GrabFood”. The list of ingredients is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into the order notes. It goes to your clipboard, not to us.

When you fill in a form

The contact form and the catering enquiry form ask for your name, email, and whatever you write in the message — plus, for catering, your phone number, organisation, event date, guest count, venue and format if you choose to fill those in.

We use that information for one thing: replying to you and, for catering, preparing a quote. We don’t sell it, don’t rent it, and don’t add you to a mailing list. It sits in our email until the enquiry is closed and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us about the same event.

Things on this site that come from somewhere else

Some parts of these pages are loaded from other companies’ servers. When your browser fetches them, it necessarily tells that company your IP address and roughly which page you were on. We’ve kept this list as short as we can:

  • Google Fonts — the three typefaces used across the site.
  • Google Mapsonly if you ask for it. The map you see on the home page and the visit page is a plain picture stored on our own server, so nothing is sent to Google. Google Maps loads only after you press “Load interactive map”.
  • OpenStreetMap — none, at page load. That picture of the streets was built from OpenStreetMap data once, when the site was made, and saved as an image. Your browser never contacts them. We credit them because their licence asks us to, not because they receive anything about you.
  • YouTube — the Eatbook video on the story page. We use YouTube’s no-cookie domain, so it won’t set tracking cookies unless you press play.
  • Vimeo — the floorball club video on the story page.

Links out to GrabFood, foodpanda, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok open those companies’ own sites, where their privacy policies apply, not ours.
